"Remember"

Zsófia Tuska is a Hungarian graphic designer and art student, specializing in concept arts, photomanipulations, and advertisements. "Gone"

Mats Minnhagen is a digital artist living in Sweden. He has worked as Concept Artist on EA Dice and currently freelances with role-playing-game, book, and popular science illustrations. His fantasy painting "Floating Fish" was the cover art for Issue 19 of Clarkesworld Magazine, and his painting "King of Ruins" was the cover art for the BCS website before our premiere issue. "Tower of Babel"

Zack Fowler is an environment artist who has worked for computer gaming studios as a Lead Environment Artist and a Level Designer. His main focus is in 3D environment art, but he also works on environment concept art, high-poly 3D modeling (organic and hard-surface), texturing, materials lighting, and event scripting.  See more of his work at www.zackfowler.com.


"New Lands"

Rado Javor is a Slovak artist who splits his time between Bratislava and the UK.  His favorite subjects include gothic Colonial America, WWI aircraft, dark science-fiction, and Napoleonic naval engagements, many of which were featured in the game Empire: Total War.  See more of his work at http://radojavor.com/.

Geoff Trebs is a twenty-seven year old artist based out of Orange County, Southern California, who specializes in concept art and character design. "Fly High"

Tina Marie Lane is a Environment Designer and 3D Artist with eleven years of professional experience in designing architecture and retail environments. Her freelance work delves into these areas as well as fantasy environments for games and literature. Recently her work has appeared in 3D Artist Magazine and can also be found at her website www.toyrocket3d.com.  She fashions her worlds, both real and imagined, from Dallas, Texas.


"Into the Unknown"

Kerem Beyit is a freelance artist born in Ankara, Turkey. He started drawing in his early childhood with the influence of comic books, and he trained himself from great fantasy artists like Frank Frazetta and Gerald Brom. He has won Master and Excellence Awards from Exposé 7, and his artwork has been used for covers of European editions of fantasy novels by Tad Williams and George R.R. Martin. "Fantasy Gate"

Wolfgang Wachelhofer is an Austrian graphic artist and web designer who has a deep passion for surreal art. Most of his inspiration comes from the rich and colorful cultures of Brazil, where he lived for four years. "Spring Sunset"

Andreas Rocha lives in Lisbon, Portugal, with his wife. He studied architecture, but after college his main occupation veered from architecture towards digital painting, something he had done during college as a hobby. He has been working freelance for three years now, doing conceptual and finished illustrations, matte paintings, and 3D architectural visualizations.

"The Canyon"

Christophe Vacher is a French artist who has provided Backgrounds, Visual Development, and Art Direction for Disney, Dreamworks, Universal Studios, and the animation industry since 1989. Relocating to California in 1996, his credits have included artwork for "Dinosaur," "Hercules," "Tarzan," and "Treasure Planet." In 2004, he became Art Director, for the animated segment of Disney's live action movie "Enchanted" and eventually for the CG feature film "9," for which he received an Annie Awards nomination for Best Production Design for a Feature Production. "Chinese Steampunk Village"

Raphael Lacoste lives in Canada. He attended CNBDI School in Angouleme, France and received a European Master of Art in 3D animation; his movie "Nîumb" was screened at Siggraph 2000, Imagina 2000, and Anima Mundi 2001. He has been an Art Director on Videogames and Cinematics for over seven years; he worked at Ubisoft on such licenses as Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed. He won a VES Award in 2006 for his work as Art Director on Prince of Persia and the Two Thrones cinematics. He currently works as Senior Art Director for Electronic Arts Montreal. "Sabicu"

Myke Amend is an illustrator and painter of things that often fall under the categories of “strange fiction”, “horror”, “gothic”, “speculative fiction”, “steampunk”, “pulp”, or “science fiction.”  He likes to mix the dark with the light-hearted, the serene with the chaotic, making pieces that can invoke a number of different and opposing thoughts and feelings, depending on the viewer or their mood for the moment.

His media of choice tends to be acrylics, but he also does woodcarving, carpentry, metalwork, sculpture in metal and in clay, and pretty much everything that involves some physical connection with the work in progress.  He has been featured and/or interviewed in Kilter Magazine, Dark Roasted Blend, IO9, Fantasy Art, Brass Goggles, Elfwood, Superpunch, and many other web magazines and blogs. "Retreat"

David Renn is a fine artist, sculptor, and designer.   A lifelong resident of coastal southeast Queensland, Australia, he is largely self-taught.
 
David's creative bent has led him to many projects including set design and scenic painting for opera, theater, and TV advertising; sculpting and painting animatronic creatures, characters, and props for feature films and TV productions; and cartooning and Illustration for books, magazines, and educational programs. He has been invited to participate in the 2nd Spectrum Exhibition at the American Society of Illustrators in New York in September 2009.

"Refugees"
 
In his thirty-five year career, Les Edwards has worked for all of the major UK publishing houses and for most of those in the USA (lesedwards.com). Some years ago he began painting in a different style under the pseudonym Edward Miller (edwardmiller.co.uk). This new work also became popular and Les now pursues both careers with equal enthusiasm.
 
He has been an Artist Guest of Honour at a World Science Fiction Convention and has been voted Best Artist by the British Fantasy Society on seven occasions. He has also been nominated for five Chesley Awards and for a World Fantasy Award five times, “Edward Miller” winning the award for Best Artist in 2008.

Rick Sardinha is a professional illustrator/fine artist living and working on the outskirts of Providence, Rhode Island.  His passion is to create in traditional oil media, however, he is just as comfortable in front of a computer and often uses multiple disciplines in the image creation process.
